It seems that neither MediaMarkt nor Samsung can keep a secret, because the Galaxy A54 made another public appearance before it was officially announced. This time, it was joined by the Galaxy A34.
The base model of the Samsung Galaxy A54 has 128GB of space and costs €500. There is also a 256GB model that costs €550. You can get it in Awesome Violet, Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome White.
Now let’s talk about the Galaxy A34. The 128GB model costs €390, while the 256GB model costs €460. Awesome Violet, Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Silver are the colors you can choose from (the only gradient paint job).
Both phones have microSD slots, but you might want to get the more expensive one anyway because the 128GB phones only have 6GB of RAM while the 256GB phones have 8GB.
These prices are lower than what was said to be coming out, but they are still higher than the starting prices of the Galaxy A53 and A33 from last year, which were €450 and €370, respectively.
By the way, you can tell the difference between the A54 and the A34 by looking at the selfie camera. The A54 has a hole, while the A34 has a notch. They shouldn’t be hard to tell apart in person, though, because the Galaxy A54 will have a 6.4-inch screen and the Galaxy A34 will have a 6.6-inch screen. Both screens will be 120Hz FHD+ AMOLEDs.
Leaked specs (now confirmed by the MediaMarkt listing) say that the Galaxy A54 will be powered by the Exynos 1380 and have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. It will also have a 50+12+5MP camera on the back and a 32MP camera on the front.
Instead of the 1080, the Galaxy A34 will have the 1080 and the same 5,000mAh battery. The back camera will have 48, 8, and 5 MP sensors, and the front camera will have a 13 MP sensor. Both phones will have IP67 protection against dust and water.
Samsung is expected to show off the Galaxy A34 and A54 this week, though the exact date and time might be different in different parts of the world. The A34 seems to be coming out in India on March 16. (Thursday).
