Users will soon be able to look up a contact’s name to view the groups they share with them. You can now quickly search a contact’s name to view the groups you both belong to, according to WhatsApp. “Whether you’re trying to remember the name of a group you know you share with someone or you want to see the groups you’re both in,” the company said.
One of two brand-new features being made available for WhatsApp groups today is the practical new tool. WhatsApp announced in a press post that it was “excited to roll out a few new changes we’ve made to make groups more manageable for admins and easier to navigate for everyone” today.
Simply launch the WhatsApp app and enter the contact’s name into the search bar to see the groups you both belong to. You may now navigate through the groups you share in common with them underneath your direct chat with them.
A new control for group admins, who can now view all requests in one location, is the second update. WhatsApp stated: “As more people join communities, we want to give group admins more control over their group privacy. As a result, we’ve built a simple tool that admins can use to determine who is able to join a group.”

It’s crucial that administrators can quickly select who may and cannot enter groups because that’s where people conduct some of their most private interactions.
