This year, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to its foldable smartphone lineup. Both versions will undoubtedly improve upon the prior iteration in key ways, such as the rumored waterdrop hinge that will enable Samsung’s foldable phones to fully close without a chink in the middle. The cover screen size of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to significantly increase, according to reports.
The top screen size increased from 1.1 inches on the original Z Flip model to 1.9 inches on the Z Flip 3 and Z Flip 4 that followed. Although it wasn’t a big improvement, it did make the cover screen usable, which wasn’t the case with the original Galaxy Z Flip. When compared to the Z Flip 4, the top screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be enormous.
