These official press images show off the Xiaomi 13 Ultra well

Initially known for its iPhone knockoffs, Xiaomi gradually became known for its affordable gadgets. With several outstanding camera-focused phones like the Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and more recently, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the firm has attempted to shed that stigma in recent years. With the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and its Leica-branded lenses, the business is anticipated to lift the standard for smartphone photography even higher later this week. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer provided the device’s official press images and unveiled some of its important specifications in advance of the launch.

Xiaomi showcased the phone’s gorgeous external design in a series of images posted on Weibo. The enormous circular camera housing with golden borders is housed in the white back that has a fake leather feel and appears upscale in renderings. Although it might not be obvious at first, the phone’s top portion is thicker than its bottom, which explains the camera hump.

To enhance lifespan, the manufacturer claims to have coated the back with an antimicrobial and a unique anti-yellowing coating. Xiaomi also intends to sell the phone in a green hue.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s design should help it stand out from other of our favorite Android phones that are worth purchasing.

Xiaomi also disclosed the 13 Ultra’s screen specifications. The front will be dominated by a 6.7-inch QHD+ C7 display created by the firm and China Star (via GSMArena). It will have a 2,600 nit maximum brightness, according to claims. If this is the case, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s display would become the brightest one available.

The 13 Ultra’s primary camera will utilize a 1-inch-type Sony IMX989 sensor, while the other three cameras will use a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor.

As of right now, Xiaomi has virtually all of the launch details for its forthcoming flagship phone. The Leica-branded cameras’ capabilities, which will be the phone’s major selling point, are yet unknown. We won’t have to wait long to learn about them, thank goodness.
