The Motorola Moto G Stylus leak may indicate a change in camera design

The Motorola Moto G Stylus may not be the most stylish pen-equipped phone on the market, but it is still a crucial item for the customers who purchase it. A few details concerning the 2023 version now seem to have been validated by fresh sources.

Motorola has not yet officially announced the new phone, but we have already seen a leak that suggests the revised model will include a reworked camera section out back. That is something that the most recent set of pictures also shows. Where did the third camera go is, therefore, an obvious question.

We don’t know, is the answer. The second camera’s exact capabilities are unknown; however, we do know that the main camera has a 50-megapixel resolution based on marketing materials. However, according to the leak from The Tech Outlook, Motorola does appear to be confident in its camera technology, as seen by the mention of low-light and portrait pictures.

Thanks to these pictures, we can now take a 5,000 mAh battery, the presence of a pen, and a 3.5mm headphone port for granted. Anyone paying attention should not be surprised by either of those facts, of course.

The marketing materials make no mention of the processor this phone would employ, but given prior Geekbench listings, we know to expect a Helio G88. 4GB of RAM and Android 13 will be combined with that processor. Even though it is a small amount of RAM, the phone undoubtedly works fine with it.

This time around, 64GB of storage and room for a microSD card slot are also anticipated. Copper and blue variants are confirmed in terms of color—or as certain as can be from leaks—as are spaces for these colors.

A 6.5-inch HD+ display with support for a 90 Hz refresh rate is described in Motorola’s documentation. Also present are some rather thick borders, although worse has been observed.

We may anticipate an announcement quite soon because both 4G and 5G variants of the phone are anticipated; the 5G version of the Moto G Stylus from last year debuted around this time.
